Message: I make it a point to write positive reviews where warranted because I am a retail manager and have seen first hand truly outstanding service go unrecognized, yet let the customer experience the smallest thing they don't like and they are quick to stop everything to write a bad review on Google or Yelp.. This is not type of store that I normally shop at, nor my style, but they do have things that I like from time to time. More important, they have some wonderful staff members who make great suggestions and are very welcoming. One staff member in particular is a huge reason for many repeat customers, including myself, my staff members, other mall workers and customers off the street. His name is Mark and he is the main reason I choose to shop in the store. His customer service, personality, attention to the customers needs, ability to listen and commitment to providing the best service is something that is unfortunately missing in many retail locations these days. I've sent many of my own customers to the store and told them to ask for him and they have thanked me for the referral. If I had an open position, I would recruit him immediately. I even introduced him to my District Manager who wanted to find a position for him in one of our locations.. If you make it to Montgomery Mall and plan to shop at Aeropostale, ask for Mark. We have reviewed studies at my own brand that revealed that people want to be serviced by individuals, not cookie cutter, uniform wearing staff members and his look makes him stand out in a positive way. The store manager must be commended for making the decision to hire this young man and nurture him in his role because he represents gold standard service, dedication and work ethic.

Message: Sales and service are really good! Maybe it's just because retail prices are tanking right now, but for the price, you're getting something better than you would at lower end stores for the same price. Perhaps this is the future of retail.

Message: If you're going to exchange anything you bought online be sure you're highly prepared with documentation. Their customer service line may be 24/7, but they're not that great.
